Well, I managed to crawl out from under the mountain of homework and revision I had to do. I haven't spent so much time buried in the library since OWLs... Luckily, it's been a pretty uneventful few weeks since that April Fools prank; I think some of the fifth and seventh years are getting close to snapping with the exams coming up, though.
Now, I'd better go make sure nobody's gone mad in the common room.

Well, like most of the other boys in the dorm, I seem to have come over all female. This is either the worst thing that's ever happened to me, or abolutely brilliant, I'm not entirely sure just yet. Don't see why the others are freaking out so much, though.
It's hard to pay attention during lessons, though... I keep finding myself staring at my own chest.
I think the worst part is, none of my clothes fit quite right anymore.

Well, looks like I'll have a date for the next Hogsmeade weekend, which should make the time between then and now all the more bearable! Something to look forward to, and all that. I just hope Michael doesn't get all weird about it, considering who she is.
I'll be a lot happier once we can get out of the castle for a bit... It's feeling rather claustrophobic lately.

Had a spot of work to do, finishing up that Charms essay for Flitwick... I suppose that's the fun of seventh year, though, all the professors setting us hefty assignments. Can't wait for the next Hogsmeade weekend, far enough away as it is; it'll be good to have something to take my mind off of all this work.
In the meantime, I'm really going to need to find something to do.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody, though I'm sure most of you are a little more concerned with your schoolwork by this point.
Personally, I think the whole NEWT business is making it a little hard to enjoy our final year here at Hogwarts, and really, if things are so serious outside the school, doesn't that make it that much more important that we have fun while we can?
Of course, I say that, but here I am studying. A depressing way to spend Valentine's.

Well, yesterday's Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson was certainly bracing! When Professor Lupin had us all try to conjure our Patronuses at once, I was barely able to make anything at all... But it always worked so well without, er, a Dementor trying to leech away all my positive emotions.
I would've figured the Gryffindors would've done better, since they're all 'lion-hearted' and such; but I guess this just hasn't been their week. Imagine, getting beat at Quidditch by HUFFLEPUFF. They haven't even had a decent side in years! Terribly embarrassing for their lot, I've no doubt.
Anyway, more later... I've got to go tutor some fifth years.
